Why Does twicely Hold My Payment?

You may notice that when you buy a package on twicely, the payment isn’t immediately sent to the seller. Instead, twicely temporarily holds the funds until the package is redeemed.

Preventing Package Hoarding

Without a fund holding system, buyers could purchase packages and hold them without redeeming them. This would prevent sellers from receiving payment and block others from buying those packages. By requiring redemption before releasing funds, twicely ensures that packages are actually used.

Protecting Both Buyers and Sellers

The system protects both sides of the transaction. For buyers, it ensures that the package is legitimate and redeemable. For sellers, it guarantees that payment will be released once the buyer completes redemption.

What Happens After Redemption?

Confirmation

The package transfer is confirmed instantly through the platform.

Payment Release

The seller receives payment into their twicely wallet.

Direct Relationship

The buyer becomes the merchant’s customer for future service.

After that point, the service relationship continues directly with the merchant.

Why the 10-Day Redemption Window?

twicely requires buyers to redeem packages within 10 days to keep the marketplace moving. This prevents packages from being reserved indefinitely and ensures that sellers receive payment promptly.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

If there are issues during redemption, twicely may review the situation and provide guidance based on the transaction details. Our goal is to maintain a safe and fair marketplace for everyone.
